Learning To Cook For Two Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I enjoyed making this dessert because it was different.  I believe chocolate dipped strawberries are simple, but this offered a unique presentation.  You can use this recipe for any occasion and it’s super easy and quick!

Chocolate Strawberries

Submerge the strawberry.  This is just to show you the level of chocolate.

Alternative

  1. Rinse strawberries and set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate morsels in microwave for 30 seconds.  Stir.  Repeat until the chocolate is melted (and not burned).
  3. Pour chocolate 3/4 full in ice-cube tray.  Place strawberry (with top) into ice-cube tray. Repeat until tray is full (or you run out of chocolate or strawberries)
  4. Place in fridge for hour.
  5. Take out and enjoy!

*to remove strawberries easily, take tray in both hands and move them in opposite directions (much like you do when you are getting ice-cubes).  Be gentle because the chocolate can break (Yes, some of mine broke.  No, they weren’t wasted.  Yes, I ate them.  Don’t you dare judge me.)
